Madonna and U2 - Ticket Control
Ticketpro Baltic welcomed its first ever event in Estonia, on August 4th, when Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour visited Tallinn.
Coincidentally, the show happened to be the largest concert to ever be presented in the country. With more than 36,245 E-Tickets bought, the number represented the largest amount of printed at home, « do it yourself, » tickets sold for an Eastern and Central European concert, if not for all of Europe. As one of the first shows of its caliber, Madonna became the fastest selling concert in the history of Entertainment in the Baltics. All guests were admitted in less than two hours thanks to Ticketpro’s unique 16 digit barcode ticket, which were scanned by PDA and logged with Ticketpro’s application, Gatekeeper. The totality of the show’s 72 000 plus audience were welcomed into the Tallinn Song Festival Ground to enjoy a memorable and historically pillar evening in the entertainment business in the Baltic.
Ticketpro Croatia welcomingly opened the Maksimir Stadium doors to U2 who performed on August 9th and 10th in front of the fastest selling stadium shows ever in the Balkans. Tickets for both shows sold more in Zagreb than in 10 of the other countries where the band had previously performed. There were more than 135, 000 spectators admitted for a music filled evening and a unique U2 experience. All guests were welcomed in less than two hours thanks to Ticketpro’s unique 16 digit barcode ticket, which were scanned by PDA and logged with Ticketpro’s application, Gatekeeper.
